Statement of Faith

• We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God. (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21; Matt. 5:18; John 16:12-13)

• We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4; John 10:30; 2 Cor. 13:14)

• We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and we believe in His Second Coming in power and glory. (John 1:14; Matt. 1:18; Isaiah 7:14, I Thess. 4:13-18; Zechariah 14:4-11; Rev. 19:11-16; 20:1-6)

• We believe that salvation of lost and sinful people is made possible only through faith in Jesus Christ. (Eph 2:8-10; John 1:12-13; Eph 1:7; I Peter 1:18-19)

• We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit who dwells in each Christ-follower and provides spiritual power, guidance, counseling towards living a godly life. (John 3:6-8,16:8-11; Rom. 8:5-6; 2 Cor. 3:6; Eph. 1:13-14)

• We believe in the spiritual unity of those who believe in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Eph. 1:22-23,5:25-29; I Cor. 11:2; Acts 14:27,20:17; I Tim. 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-11)

• We believe in the power of prayer, that Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit intercede in our needs and praises and petition to the Lord on our behalf, allowing us to have communion with God.  (Matt 6:7-13; Mark 6:12; Rom. 8:26; Romans 12:12; Philip. 4:6; James 5:13; 2 Chron. 7:14)

• We believe man is created in the “image of God” by God the Creator; however, shortly after creation “The Fall” in sin occurred. Man inherited a sinful nature, and became separated from God due to the depravity of sin. Jesus Christ is the only cure for the separating disease of sin. (Gen 1:26-27, Rom. 5:12,19; Eph 2:1-3,12)

• We believe in the resurrection of the saved; they that are secured unto the resurrection of life. Those souls that are lost and have denied Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will not partake in the resurrection of life, but death and damnation.  (Matt. 25:41-46; John 5:28-29; Rev. 20:4-6,11-15; Phil. 1:23,3:21; Luke 16:19-26; II Thess. 1:7-9)

• We believe God’s plan for human sexuality is to be expressed only within the context of marriage, that God created man and woman as unique biological persons made to complete each other. God instituted monogamous marriage between male and female as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society. For this reason, we believe that marriage is exclusively the union of one genetic male and one genetic female. (Gen 2:24; Matt. 19:5-6; Mark 10:6-9; Rom. 1:26-27; 1 Cor. 6:9)
